How did u find out about Deanna? I actually don't remember the first movie I saw of hers, but my dad just randomly got one of her movies @ the library, and I loved it, so i was really lucky that they had all of her movies there! I wish I could remember the first movie I saw though!

I found out about Deanna when I was ten years old. I was watching an episode of Mama's Family. Thelma was watching one of Deanna's movies & she talked about how wonderful "little Deanna" could sing. So thats how I first heard about her.

I know! So I had always been curious about Deanna. I did'nt know if she was a real movie star or if they made her up on the show. LOL!

My father told me we were related to her,.......or was it my Grandma. Well one of the two told me that. I was 12 at the time. not sure if we really are, nut if so I'd think it's be distantly related.

Hello all. I remember watching Deanna's movies when I was a young girl in the 1960's. I was never a fan of that type of singing, but when she sang she lit up the screen and I fell in love with anything that she did. I couldn't get enough of her movies. I remember that her eyes sparkled and to this day I don't know of any actress that shined on screen like she did and I wish she knew how many hours she brightened the life of a young girl. I started collecting her movies over the last 10 years.
